Life as a Moon

I am not the sun.
I have no light
of my own.

I am just no one,
the timing right
to reflect

that which has begun
at a far more
perfect source.

You use a skillful metrical variation in the second to last line, modifying your iambs by having two unstressed syllables followed by a foot with two stresses (at a far more = ~~--). DuVal taught me about that. It's a good poem, James. I really enjoyed it.
